Every challenge we face in life has the potential to distance us from God or bring us closer. The pandemic is no different, and it is no different from any other time in our lives: God is always and continues to be in control. Circumstances change; Jesus is the same. Deodoro and Fatima gave their lives to Christ. The Luna church of Christ has given them assistance while having health problems. Fatima is brother Nilson’s sister. While here in Joao Pessoa, we studied the Bible together, and both decided to be baptized. They plan to move to Joao Pessoa to be closer to their newfound family in Christ.
